Glice Rink Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Merry Hill Glice Rink. To ensure that all attendees have a fun and safe experience, please read the below.
All skaters must sign a copy of these Terms and Conditions upon arrival before being admitted onto the rink. Failure to do so will result in them being denied access. Parents and legal guardians must sign on behalf of children under the age of 16.
Merry Hill Glice Rink is a free family event. Children must be over the age of 3 to take part, and any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Glice Rink rules:
- Please skate in one direction only (anti-clockwise).
- Please do not skate in chains of skaters.
- Please do not sit or climb on the barriers.
- There’s no smoking, eating or drinking allowed on the rink.
- Children need to be 3 years of age or over and must be able to walk without support.
- All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied on the ice by a responsible adult, and those under 16 must be supervised from the viewing area.
- Anybody under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted on the rink.
- Please be respectful of others and do not speed skate.
- Only Glice Skates are allowed on the skating surface no other footwear, unless approved by a member of our team.
- In the event of an evacuation, please do not vacate the premises before removing Glice Skates.
- The management of this event reserve the right to refuse entry or remove persons on the rink entirely at our discretion.
Merry Hill Glice Rink is provided by Project 2 Events and Production, on behalf of Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
You are entering the rink at your own risk.
Project 2/ Merry Hill Shopping Centre accepts no responsibility for injury caused by any falls, collisions or
injuries that may occur on the Glice Rink.
Project 2/ Merry Hill Shopping Centre reserve the right of admission and to remove persons from the activity for any reason including behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of Project 2 representatives staffing the Event.
People skating at this venue do so entirely at their own risk and Project 2/ Merry Hill Shopping Centre cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by in house structures, objects, or by the actions of other skaters.
Project 2/ Merry Hill Shopping Centre are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever caused, to yourself or third party, your property or clothing.
