World Book Day Competition Terms & Conditions
- The competition will run from Thursday 6th March – Sunday 9th March.
- The closing date for entries will be 11.59pm on Sunday 9th March. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of Merry Hill, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
- To enter, entrants must follow the official Merry Hill page, like the relevant competition post and comment with a picture of a World Book Day costume.
- By sharing these images with us, permission is being granted for these to be reshared onto the official Merry Hill social media.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Multiple entries are permitted.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The grand prize consists of a £50 voucher for Waterstones, with 2 runners-up winning a creative writing bundle from The Works (worth £25).
- The winners will be selected from all valid entries, and will be notified via direct message from the official Merry Hill Instagram page before 5pm on Monday 10th March, and will have until 12pm on Wednesday 12th March to reply.
- If no attempt is made to respond, Merry Hill will select another winner(s) from the competition entrants before 5pm that day. The next-placed winner(s) will have until 12pm on Friday 14th March to get in touch. If the second winner(s) do not get in touch then the prize will no longer be valid and no other winner will be selected.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The promoter is Merry Hill whose registered office is at Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 1QX.
