The Good Egg Terms & Conditions

  • The Good Egg Award nominations will run from Thursday 26th March – Monday 6th April.
  • The closing date for entries will be 11.59pm on Monday 6th April. After this date, no further entries to The Good Egg Award will be permitted.
  • All nominations must be submitted by residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
  • Nominations must be made via the submission form on the Merry Hill website. Entries made through other means will not be accepted.
  • Multiple nominations may be made for the same Good Egg; however, this does not increase winning chances.
  • Nominees must be based in the West Midlands. Nominees from outside the seven metropolitan boroughs that comprise the West Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton) will not be considered for The Good Egg Award.
  • By submitting nominations, permission is being granted for this to be shared on the Merry Hill social media pages and website.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter The Good Egg Award.
  • By entering The Good Egg Award, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • The prize consists of a £1,000 Merry Hill gift card.
  • The winner will be decided by a board of representatives at Merry Hill. Nominations will be judged anonymously, and the judges will have no prior knowledge of the nominees’ identity.
  • The winner will be notified via direct message on their chosen contact method before 5pm on Wednesday 8th April, and will have until 12pm on Friday 10th April to reply.
  • If no attempt is made to respond, Merry Hill will select another winner from the nominees before 5pm that day. The next-placed winner will have until 12pm on Monday 13th April to get in touch. If the second winner does not get in touch then the prize will no longer be valid and no other winner will be selected.
  • Arrangements will either be made to deliver the prize to the winner, or can be collected in-centre.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative will be offered.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  • The promoter is Merry Hill whose registered office is at Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 1QX
